The Argyll Bird Report (ABR) is published annually by the Argyll Bird Club. Members of the club are provided with a free copy. The bulk of each report consists of a systematic list summarising bird records in Argyll over a one-year period. In addition, short papers are published on the distribution, status, behaviour and ecology of birds in Argyll. If you are interested writing a paper, please contact the editor to ensure that their material is within the scope of the ABR. The editor is willing to help and encourage first-time authors. Copies of the latest Argyll Bird Report (2004-2005 - Volume 20) cost £6.00 (including postage & packing) and can be obtained from the Treasurer, Bob Furness, The Cnoc, Tarbet, Loch Lomond G83 7DG. Please make cheques payable to the ‘Argyll Bird Club’. All Argyll Bird Reports (vols 1-17) are now available on one CD in PDF file format.
